Class 1 – A motor provides pedal-assistance up to 20MPH
Class 2 – A throttle is included which also goes up to 20MPH. Throttles are typically not found on e-bikes in Europe.
Class 3 – Pedal-assist up to 28MPH
Most trails allow Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes. Class 3 e-bikes are usually too fast to be allowed on trails.

Cadence – As soon as the pedals move, the e-bike accelerates to the MPH allowed by the pedal-assist level the cyclist chooses (8MPH, 11MPH, etc.) which is fun, yet a little “jumpy”.
Torque-sense – A torque-sensing motor senses how much pressure the rider applies to the pedal, and then provides the assistance the rider is asking for. This makes for a much smoother ride.

The range varies by model. The models we carry can travel between 40 to 120 miles on a single charge.
